Money In The Bank

It’s All Your Vault
by
M. K. O'Roark
Cast: 3 Men 3 Women
Set: Interior Bank
Sad times have befallen the Last Territorial Bank and Telegraph Company. President, and Founder, J.P. Moneylender, is missing and presumed dead. Though not "physically" present, his presence is strongly felt in the form of a "living portrait", (his eyes really do follow you around the room, and much more), which hangs in the bank. In his "absence", Hilregard Moneylender, J.P.’s widow and step-mother to our lovely heroine, Marion, has taken over the day to day duties of the bank. The evil Smedley Chetum, (not one to let an opportunity slip through his fingers), does his best to take slimy advantage of the situation. All is not as it appears in this tale. Take nothing for granted and beware of sharp plot twists.

The Harlot Letter
or
Jack To The Future
by
M. K. O'Roark
Cast: 5 Men 4 Women
Double Casting Options Possible
Set: Interior Kitchen with outhouse attached / Exterior Street Scene
Things do not seem right from the start of our little story. Our once lovely Heroine Becky Bluebird has been married for some years to the evil and nasty Villain Bart Blackheart. Our once stalwart Hero and former suitor Jack Flash has been reduced to a poor Milkman and makes daily deliveries to the unhappy couple. It is on one of these visits that Becky puts the question to Jack as to why he forsake her all those years ago. At long last the truth comes out that the reason he rebuffed her was due to what he refers to as "The Harlot Letter" that was delivered to him many years ago by a young Bart Blackheart. The letter was designed to cast doubts on Young Becky's virtue and leave the way open for Bart to swoop in and marry the discarded Heroine and put himself in a position to inherit her vast wealth. In truth, Becky's wealth never materializes and Bart's desire for a now far less attractive Becky has faded. Upon hearing the truth that has ruined her life, Becky sets out to take matters (and a shotgun) into her own hands and deliver upon Bart some old fashioned justice. All hope for a happy future seems lost when out of the blue, Doctor Emmitt Clown arrives and informs Bart that he has invented a device that will enable him to travel back in time. Bart jumps at the opportunity to return to the past and take steps to see that "The Harlot Letter" is never delivered, thus ensuring that it will be Jack and not he that marries the time ravaged Becky. Of course nothing goes according to plan and plot twists abound in this mile a minute wacky adventure.

Thoroughly Modern Mennonite
or
The Power Of Positive Finking
by
M. K. O'Roark
Cast: 4 Men 2 Women
Set: Exterior Amish Courtyard / Exterior Blacksmith's Shop / Interior Blacksmith's Shop
All appears to be very plain and proper in the small town of Amishetka even in light of new arrival Andrew Modernsly who is not a true person of Amish faith but rather a relocated Mennonite who has moved into the Blacksmith's shop and is carefully hiding his "modern" ways and inventions from the town Elders. He hopes to make his stay permanent mainly due to the lovely Sarah Sanderson whose father and mother are the town's chief elders. This is where Ely Badsworth along with his stooge Jonas Toadman set out to upset the apple cart. They have been in town posing as honest Amishites for some time hoping to get their hands on the Blacksmith shop which they believe has been built over the very spot where they hid the gold from an ill-fated Wells Fargo robbery ten years earlier. Together they set out to expose the modern inventions of our hero hoping that will result in him being shunned and expelled from the community. Then the way will be clear for our Villains to ravage the shop and find their hidden treasure. This of course will not be the case if Sarah has anything to say about it.
